Meet the Student Ambassadors
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Student Ambassadors. At such a young age, they took on the responsibility of promoting Boston MIC with initiative and confidence. Whether by creating promotional videos, recommending the competition to classmates and friends, or speaking up across school platforms, they demonstrated leadership, communication skills, and the spirit of today’s STEM youth. Their passion and dedication truly brought the competition to life.

I reached out to my stem teacher, robotics district coordinator, and my principal. I distributed tickets to my friends and my friends' friends. I learned how to reach out to others in an efficient way.
Boston MIC is a great place to have fun with your love of Engineering!
Alex Cheng
3rd Grade
Fessenden School
I took initiative by inviting my science teacher to serve as a judge, promoting Boston MIC among classmates and neighbors, and sharing tickets to encourage participation. I also created short promotional videos on social media. Through this experience, I learned to communicate confidently with adults and take responsibility for something bigger than myself. What I found most exciting was that BMIC allowed me not only to compete, but also to act as a host and introduce the event to more people.

Mason Wang

Newman Elementary School, Needham
It is my honor to be a student ambassador to promote the fun, exciting, and creative challenges at the BMIC. I promoted the BMIC by showing, and telling friends, hockey teammates and teachers about the activities and challenges. I learned how to socialize, promote things and was excited and satisfied when I saw my invites showed up at the event.
BMIC, the most fun and challenging STEM events you would ever experience.
Mia Wang

Pollard Middle School
I promoted ticket sales to my peers and reached out to science and tech teachers. In the end, 80% of my guests came to the event, and had stated that they had a great time. The experience taught me a lot of new skills and helped me learn new things. For example, it showed me how to become a leader in a way, communicate better with others, and use lots of planning to promote the BMIC.

As an Ambassador, I helped promote Boston MIC by spreading the word at my school and supporting the event on the ground. I loved engaging with attendees, guiding them through fun activities like the Drone Flying Challenge and Obstacle-Avoiding Tank Challenges, and—most importantly—sharing lots of laughs, excitement, and memorable moments with new friends along the way.
